Some journeys begin long before the first flight.
About me
Hey there, and welcome to “Flying Ambi”.
I’m Amber — born in 2003, raised in Belgium, and endlessly fascinated by the world of aviation. It’s been the thread running through every chapter of my life
— from the first spark of curiosity to the moment I realized this passion would become my path.
During my final year studying Aviation Technology at VIVES University, I took a leap that changed everything. What began as a short internship abroad turned into months of working alongside a line maintenance crew at Pearson International Airport.
— learning, growing, and slowly carving my place in a world that once felt out of reach.
Somewhere along the way, life got busy. I stopped writing for a while, caught between airports and ambitions. But now, I’m here again — creating a space to share the stories that shaped me: the turbulence, the stillness, the small victories that keep me grounded while I chase the sky.
I’m 22 now, continuing my journey toward becoming both an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer and a Commercial Pilot. It’s not an easy path, but it’s mine.
— full of risk, wonder, and the quiet kind of courage that comes from starting over.
